Birkenhead Point 2018
This year the Art Pharmacy team and MIRVAC collaborated to activate the Birkenhead Point Centre through exciting installations by a number of established Australian artists. I was asked to contribute to the winter installation with selected artist Luke Power. I designed and styled the mannequins and created expressive and dynamic fashion based forms.
The exhibition celebrated NAIDOC Week 2018, and showcased the skills of Injalak Arts, a Northern Territory arts community. Hand-woven grass textiles and unique screen prints depicting designs of their Gundjabarrk or dilly bag were given a fashion focus. Read more about the project.
